Dear Richard,

Thank you for reading my novel 'Fearless', as I can tell it has been a great success. Your comments are much appreciated and whoever said that is was a 'Girl's book'? You do know that I am a male and I did write the book. I have answered your questions with great pleasure.

My inspirations were my own children, they made me wonder about the meaning of life. Also about life on their perspective. All throught the process of writing this novel, I kept thinking that Little Fearless was one of my children. At times it did make myself cry too, so don't feel too bad.

Well, my kids did give me an insiration, other than that I used some bits and pieces of other fairytales I have read and put everything together.

I knew the end of the story was coming because I have that feeling that if I go on, I might repeat things, in which my reader isn't attracted. So after the climax of the story, I knew that I had to round it off. I see I haven't failed to keep you intrigued!

Of course it was going to be a sad and very emotional story, but I really didn't know the reaction of my reader's. I have written book s like this one before, such as "The Scent of Dried Roses". You should read some of my other books if you especially enjoyed this one.

Actually the name of the book was originally The Strange and Somewhat Sad Story of Sadie Strongheart. This novel has been edited so much that it's name was eventually changed to Fearless. It took me seven years to actually get the book published after the first draft was completed, so I must say the hard work has paid off.

As this was my first young adult book, I tried something different and it seemed to work out, so I'll give my book an 8/10. I could do better as all books can't be perfect.

It was a pleasure to receive and emai from you Richard, I wish you all the best for your assignment and hope you have enjoyed reading my book.

Kind regards,

Tim Lott
